Indian Independance Day was last week, and because of school I couldn't do anything. So although this is still late, it's here now and that's what counts.
Basically this is a photo-remastering. Back in Gandhi's days, there were no good cameras, so the original picture I had was absolute CRAP. Check the transitional link down below to see the original. I first remastered the original image, then applied a base coat followed by shadow and highlight work and finally finishing up with detail enhancement. In the end it came out with a painted/airbrushed look so that's why I stuck it in the painting/airbrushing section. I thought about putting this in the Photomanip section, but they said that it has to be clearly different from the original so ummm...it's not, so screw that. The dykes at DA better not move this or take it down <_< I know there isn't much to the actual LP, but that's beside the point. It's supposed to represent the man and as the text suggests, his life, legend, and legacy (legend and legacy have different meanings). I'll probably be making a series in honor of Gandhi since he is my greatest role model aside from my father, and my father doesn't feel like getting drawn In the series I will be going over the theme of this introductory painting - his life, his legend, and his legacy. I will be remastering a picture for each of those things. A picture which I feel best represents that theme. So I hope you stay tuned for that. Transitional Image: [link] ------------ As a side note, I will only be doing this series after I finsish my tutorial. My gift spree has been put on hold and I wish to continue it when I get a nice long free period of time ^_^ |

You did a good thing again, Tony
By the way, nice work on the photo. I just don't think b/w pics are crap, specially an historical photo like this one. But that's Ok, it ended well.
